Deco Pitcher

My honey cut these lilacs for me on our walk and I grabbed my pitcher to put them in and thought of you all and how you might like to see it. I had never seen anything like it before. I believe it is Art Deco, not sure (let me know if it's not) but looks like that style. It was a great find and in pristine condition.
I tried to get all angles so you can get a good look.

It fits the hand perfectly and my little finger slips right into the hole so the grip is secure.

Here is the pouring spout.

Here we are looking at the back side of the handle.....Can you smell those lilacs?

Have a great day!

It is lovely - very unusual. I have a lilac tree in my garden that is almost flowering - another week should see it in full bloom.

It looks very much like a Charles Renee Mackintosh design to me. I think it's definitely inspired by his work. It is lovely. Are there no dates or anything on the stamp?

Hi - just popped by to thank you for your lovely comment on my photographs. My camera is nothing special it's a canon digital ixus 100 ls - but I'm having lots of fun using Flickr, and editing them using piknic (think that's the correct spelling) - there is a small charge for signing up with it, but I can highly recommend it. It's all very easy to use, and you can link the Flickr up to your blog. Piknic is the editing package you find on Flickr -

Hope you're having a good weekend
