PIE OGRAPHY - Giveaway

Happy Friday my friends, I hope you have had a most marvelous week!

As you can see we are having a giveaway and one I'm very excited about too!

I'm sure most of you have seen or even purchased the beautiful magazines titled "Where Women Cook" by Jo Packham.  Well now, Jo had the brilliant idea to do a book on pies and approached Anne Marie of Na Da Farm Life blog, to do  the honors of putting it together with the talented photographer, Traci Thorson.  I will let you go over to Anne Marie's blog to read all about how  this special book came together here.

Anne Marie is also hosting a fun event...pie ography Thursday, where we are all invited to share our pies too.  Yesterday was the first day for that, you can check that out here.

I can't wait to get my copy of this sweet book...this will be a great way for me to 'finally' learn how to make a good pie.

Here's how you can have a chance to win a copy.  Just leave a comment about your favorite pie, or a special pie that someone has made in the past or perhaps, even one you would like to make sometime.

The winner will be announced on Wednesday. March 6th.

Have a very special weekend, my friends.    xo

I love custard. My mother loves custard. At Christmas I made her an eggnog custard pie. That is really what she wanted for her birthday a month later but eggnog was not being sold at the grocery store.

Pie is my absolute favorite dessert, so I would love a copy of this book! Hard to choose a favorite pie though. I reckon I'd have to say my great-grandmother's lemon cream. Yummeh!

I won't enter the giveaway cos should I be lucky enough to win, it would cost FAR too much to ship overseas but I'm going to look out for a copy of this book over here- there's nothing better than a good pie- especially for using up the previous day's casserole!
Good luck to everyone
have great weekend Sherri

My three favorite pies to date are blackberry, sweet potato, and old-fashioned apple. Though Lemon meringue is up there, too. We even served those particular pie varieties to our wedding guests in place of cake!

Whoa - now that's a great giveaway - who doesn't love pie? For so many they bring back wonderful memories. My favorite is my grandmother's pecan pie. I've got to check out that site.
Thanks!

Pie wins hands-down over cake any time. No matter how expert the crust, though, people in my family tend not to eat it, so I make mostly berry crumble.

Years ago in Bellingham we had a Bon Marche "downtown" with a restaurant. They used to make a pie called "Mile High Strawberry Pie"... it was strawberry fluffiness and a flaky pie crust that was sweet and sugary. My all time favorite :)

I'm a strawberry rhubarb cream pie girl. One of my best friends gave me the recipe in college, and it's still one of my families favorites. If I'm not too late, please enter me. I love making pies and now my daughter is continuing the tradition.
