A Test Drive

Here is the newest member of the Vancouver house, a generous Valentines gift from my hubby... thank you honey!!
*
I took it for a spin this afternoon and she preformed beautifully, whipping up a batch of goodies in no time at all.
The old standby, a cookie jar favorite and one that has greeted many a child after school for generations.
The humble, faithful, oatmeal raisin cookie...Yummy!

I hope you are all having a pleasant weekend.

Look at that, we have the very same one! Isn't it great? Those cookies look delicious. The Engineer and Pony Girl made cinnamon rolls in ours this morning, yum!
Happy baking!

Oh congrats on your Kitchen Aid. I used mine yesterday to make coffee and walnut cake (from Ruby's Mamma Made It). Very, very yummy. According to the KA instructions the whisk isn't supposed to go in the dishwasher but I've put mine in and there doesn't seem to be any ill effects. Enjoy. What a fab husband you have. xx

I think a Kitchen Aid is more than just a part of a house - it's now a part of the family =)
