A Short Break

The colors this Fall have been spectacular. I don't know if it is my imagination or the strange weather we have had this last year that really has made the colors more vibrant...whatever it is, I am loving it. Are you experiencing it in your area?

On the walk with the dogs this morning, I captured our neighbors barn and some of the colors that I mentioned are here too, with even the dried grasses around the old fence. Can't you just picture a pile of yarn in all these colors?

I am off to the city house and Portland, tomorrow Kami will be meeting with the Oncologist and will be getting the full report on the Hodgkin's Lymphoma and a plan of action. It will be so good to get going on this and hopefully she can get come relief from that insane itching.

Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and loving comments, it is a comfort to us all. We will keeping our chins up through this journey and will update information as needed.

I will not be making a post until next week but will be checking in with all of you as I can...like as soon as I turn on the computer at the city house...you're not getting rid of me that easily, haha!
Have a great weekend! xo

We are having wonderful colours too - a French guy I was teaching today called it 'a Festival of Colours' and I thought that was great English!

Sherri
Kami will be in my thoughts and prayers, of course. I can see why you want to be right there with her when she goes for her consultation.
You'll be missed, but we'll be right here when you get back!
I love your fall barn photo-very pastoral.
Take care-Kimberly

Firstly, thoughts will be with you & Kami as you make your trip. You two stay strong and positive. Yes indeedy, I can see a plaid throw across the fence with that really cool red barn in the background. Looks like something I would see in a magazine. . Just beautiful.

Sherri...I can't believe what you told me about the magazines and how they've not showcased Christmas. I routinely take ads out in magazines and I would NEVER advertise in a magazine if Christmas wasn't honored. Very sad.

Thinking of you and wishing Kami well. Take care of you, TOO!

I love that photo of the barn. Very pretty. I am sorry to hear about your daughter's cancer. May the Lord bring peace and help during this time. Here's hoping the treatments help heal Kami.
