First Recipe Entry

Thanks Kami, for helping us get our serving of vegetable right along with our chocolate. I must confess that I have had this several times and it is as good as it looks. As you can see Kami found this favorite recipe at joyofbaking.com , and you can use this link to check it out.

Now that my daughter has contributed I will need to have a drawing for the winner since I might be a bit partial.

Please do not be nervous about any recipe that you share, as this is all for fun and being together in the kitchen. You do not have to send it by email if you got it on the web like Kami did then just give it to me in your comment and I will go there and do the rest ( no link necessary). If you do email I will not give your address out nor will I keep it, so not to worry there. This should be a happy experience for you so if you have another suggestion then let me know.

I would love to have you leave a comment if you try any of the recipes...Happy cooking.

I have a recipe for that too - it is delicious and great for when ideas run out during a glut of courgettes (as we call them over here in the UK!)

Ok, so we just pick any recipe and send it or are we working with specifics?

This looks delicious!

I am definitely in for a recipe, I'll have to send it when I get back. Now what to choose? So many possibilities. Probably something inspired by our farmers market. I'll be thinking on it :)

Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Mother's Day!

Hmmm.... to the test kitchen me thinks! Will have to get Mr B fat by testing out all my recipes to make sure I send in my very, very best!

I almost missed this, your blog posts have stopped coming through on my feed for some reason! That would have been a disaster

Hi - I didn't have to think too hard about my favourite recipe at the moment. It's from Ottolenghi - Semolina and Raspberry Tart. It's easy to make, and once eaten never forgotten!! it's that good...

Sherri - I don't think you will have any trouble finding it on the net - let me know if there is any problem, and I will get a link for you.

Hope you're having a good week and your mother is feeling well -

I'm going to post Son 1's recipe for Spotted Dick, probably tomorrow, and link to you as his entry for the competetion, Sherri. Now I just have to think of one for myself... I think Son 2 will do Treacle Tart - they are going a bundle on traditional British puddings at the mo.

This recipe looks great. I've done a similar one from the Green and Black's organic choc cook book.
