Hitting The Road

I'm off dear friends, down to City House and my first follow up appointment with my doctors tomorrow.  It is just routine and should go just fine.

There is a new cookbook out,  well actually it is a baking book, and I am excited about it, so excited, that I do believe a giveaway is in order!

were no plans to hang sheets on the line today.

The sight of laundry flapping in the breeze is like a happy pill to me and can lift my spirits instantly!

Even Frederick wanted to come out and help, his job is to keep birds away so as to not 'soil' the clean

laundry!

Return to Little House

It doesn't seem possible that I have been gone from the Little House for more than 2 1/2 months...wow. It is

so good to be back but feels strange all at the same time.

A nice surprise to see the French pussy willow showing off in the yard.

Always a promise of the Spring to come...eventually.  I think I'll get the clippers out and bring some of those

velvet little knobs inside.

There she stands...patiently waiting for her promise of a new life....'The Shed'...

So much to do, so much to catch up on and in a way, relearn.  Curious as to how a few short months away

can cause one to forget so much of the routine.


Off I go to peck away at the To Do list and build up my stamina.


Thanks to all of you who ventured a guess at the mystery object on my last post.  It remains a mystery still

but some good ideas as to what direction to continue the quest.
