Do You Knit Well?

* * * * Above photo from Amazon.com

I picked this book up from a local thrift shop because it was too beautiful and so new looking that I couldn't leave it behind, only problem is I really don't knit, I do in my head but not in real life.

These photos by my hurry and do it self.

I know that one of my readers could put it to better use and get enjoyment out of it. I got an idea when is saw Nan from Retired In Alaska blog, post a photo of of two tin plates and say that the first person who told her that they wanted them, she would stick them in an envelope a mail them off.

In the process of getting ready to open my Etsy store, Stockshop (yes, I have made some progress by deciding on a name), I will be weeding out things to donate and some things to gift to you, my blogging friends. I will try and see if I can include friends out of the US but have some questions for the Postal Service first. So for the time being this will be for the States only.
*
If you can use this book please email me and let me know. I will post when it has been given away. * * * *Update - Katieb was the first to ask for the book so it will be mailed off to her.* * *

Have a great day.

I don't knit (yet), but it is a lovely book and I am sure it will make someone very happy. I love your description of how you knit:)

My grandmother tried to teach me to crochet years ago, but I never really picked it up... another regret.

The name of your Etsy store is perfect!

Hi Sherri - knitting is one of those things that I wish I knew how to do, but I've just never gotten around to learning it. That book looks beautiful, and I'm sure it would be very handy for some talented knitter out there! I'm looking forward to discovering what kinds of things you'll sell at your Etsy store. Good name!

I tried knitting and did it a few years ago, but left it behind for scrapbooking, sewing and oh yeah, raising children =). Love the Etsy shop name!!

Looks like an awesome book! How nice of you to give it away. I knit, but I'm not so great at it. Thanks for leaving me a message about chickens. Question... How loud are they? I know hens don't "crow" but do they still "talk"? I feel like they can't be louder than my neighbor's dog who barks whenever he's outside!

How sweet of you to do as Nan did. And thank you for the congratulations for my winning Nan's Tins. I was so pleased. That is a beautiful book. Good luck with your new shop. I've been thinking of opening one too. TIME...... Is there ever enough to go around? Have a great weekend! Charlene
