It's Friday and it is sunny and I am in a great mood! To celebrate the sun and happiness, I am doing a quick giveaway. This is an enameled paella pan, designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk...now you will never again doubt how much I love you all..hehehe. It was to be offered in my shop but I fancy it in your kitchen.

Hi Sherri! I love paella, but I've never made it. I am assuming the pan can be used for other things as well - it is such a pretty color!
This weekend is the beginning of our painting project...wish me luck!
I wonder how it is that your lovely giveaways often call to mind my mother? She had a set of yellow Dansk pots when I was young, she had them for ages. I recently asked if she had any left but alas not. I would love to try my hand at paella and I can imagine strata, stir fry, giant dutch babies etc. made in that gorgeous pan.
As for weekend plans...if the sun remains there will be time in the garden, a family bike ride with possible picnic, and grilled pizza for dinner eaten alfresco! Pony Girl has a project due Monday at school, she needs to do a presentation on something she is an expert on. Can you guess what it will be about? So, we will be working on that as well this weekend. I am also hoping to find some strawberries at the market!
Thank you for sharing this great giveaway!
Wow, that's a beautiful pan! I see yard work and maybe some homemade strawberry jam on tap for this weekend! Hope the nice weather holds out for you:@)
Hi, Sherry!
What a wonderfully generous giveaway. I love to make paella! It is the perfect one pan feast.
This pan look big enough to feed a crowd! I would love to win it... and then make a big batch of paella for friends and family.
Thanks!
Yvonne
We LOVE paella, and our favorite tapas place closed! I can see that happy yellow baby hanging in my kitchen.
So excited about that wonderful pan!!! whats paella?
My weekend plans is I'm going to teach Sunday school for the first time in 26 years wish me luck!
Are you serious?? That's an awesome paella pan! I have several Dansk pieces including a red one that was my mother's which she received as a wedding gift in early 1960s! I still use it today. It's similar, but a lot smaller and deeper... more of a side dish pot with a matching lid.
I'm putting my oldest daughter on a plan for East Asia for 2.5 months this afternoon. I'm going to miss her terribly... My weekend will be a bit sad...
Very nice pan, but please don’t choose me as I probably won’t use it much, I just thought I would say I am happy that you are finally getting some real nice weather good for you.
Regards
Edward
Sherri, after seeing this, all I can think about is paella! Guess I'll have to make some now. Tyler Florence has a good recipe, The Ultimate Paella, that you might take a look at unless of course you have a recipe.
PS: going back out into the garden and anytime you want to help, would love it. Hope your weekend is a good one.
I've been having trouble leaving comments, even on my own blog, thanks to Blogger's latest glitch. Hoping this works!
I'm Lisa from My Peacefully Chaotic Life and I just came across your blog. It would be wonderful to have a pan like this and try something totally new for our family.
Our weekend took us to a local lake for some fun in the sun and included an impromptu visit to the circus. :)
