God's Pastels

This is the sunset that we had the other evening. It was spectacular and changed by the second.

It was like watching the artist painting on the canvas right before our eyes. Actually we were watching The Master...Thank you Lord for another masterpiece.

Today is a bit different, as I prepared to head out to the garden, I noticed the southern sky getting dark and then heard the thunder in the distance, sure enough, a thunderstorm is on it's way, as predicted. Having a deep respect for this part of nature, I will be working on organizing the pantry instead.

I hope you all have a nice weekend...Any special plans?      xo

Great pic! Hope the storm is of the "nicer" variety and just waters everything well. Should be a nice weekend in Philly, upper 80's:@)

Actually, you could call those Siberia's pastels. I found out today that the unusually colorful sunsets of the past few days have been caused by debris from Siberian wildfires arriving here in the jet stream.

I need to organize my pantry too. But I'm too lazy right now to tackle it. With our entire kitchen still undergoing a remodel it makes for a good excuse. No one sees the messed up shelves but MOI! :)

Thanks for your sweet words today.

Love, Rebecca
