Attitude Adjustment

Hello my friends. I will get right to the point...I am working through a bit of the blues. To help with this, I have a small package that I will be sending off to one of you. While at the market, I picked up two copies of the latest issue of MaryJanesFarm. One for myself and one to send off.

Also, I will send along this 'already looked at' copy of, Where Women Cook summer issue... at the price of $14.99 a copy, I like to pass it along to someone else to enjoy instead of going in the recycle bin.

If you are interested in these magazines, then just tell me in your comment and I will draw a name Wednesday morning and announce it in the 'New to Me' blog share post.

Please do not be concerned about my mood.  I have always been an emotional person but ever since Kami's cancer treatment 'ended' I have been much more fragile...Very strange, as I was quite strong during her entire journey...go figure.

Anyway, I am trying to find a place to put the events of Aurora, it seems that it is just a jumble of puzzle pieces that I am standing over and just staring at...not knowing what piece to start with.  I should probably put the entire lot in the box and stick it on the shelf...yes, maybe that is what I'll do.

See you all on Wednesday.  xo

Not posting for the magazines (cook? Me? HA!!), only to tell you what a generous, lovely, sweet and caring girl you are. I think that most people with a beautiful mind suffer from mood swings and dark periods. It's the price they pay for being such special, wonderful people- at least that's what I figure.

my dear friend-

of course you were strong for the treatment because you HAD to be...now the danger is passed (and past) your little ol' adrenaline says phew, I can take my big important clothes off and breathe ouuuuuuuuuut in a huge sigh and let EVERYTHING down with a blimmin'; great PLOP!!

You're a lovely, kind and sensitive person so you notice these things more than most but this will pass dearest Sherri, its not like blues-for-no-reason, its blues "because"
You have to just go with it, wear comfy clothes and eat comfy food and nourish your inner bits.

If you feel inclined please send me your address, I'd love to cheer myself up by sending YOU something, and as we well know that whoppin' great ocean is a tad too large for me to come over, give you a hug and cook you some of my guaranteed to cheer rhubarb and custard muffins!
xx

I think sometimes when life slows down the emotions take over.
My heart is heavy for Aurora as well. My son was a first responder there. So sad.
So nice of you to offer these magazines. Hope tomorrow is a brighter day.

i can sympathize with about the shooting ... being that i feel my belief in GOD has been always in my life, such a big part of who i am ... i've been asking why? how to cope & move on. i try not to listen to the news because it makes me so so sad. but i find myself wanting to listen. even drawn to it. but why? i don't know. i guess we are all in a state of shock & confusion. that is so normal. i would sure think so. i wish you & all of us to find some peace. it's so tough. sending you big hugs.

i would enjoy being put into the drawing, please. thanks! (:

Oh, Big Hugs, Sherri! I have had bad periods of depression in the past too. It helps me to give stuff away. How very thoughtful it is for you to share an expensive magazine. Your life has been a roller-coaster lately, now is one of the dips.

You can only be strong for so long and then you must surrender a bit. Press on! Sage words from my dad, that he gives to me in times of sorrow.
