A Little Break

Hello friends.  I will be taking a little break...Kami (daughter) is having a bit of a struggle with her radiation set up.  It has been quite trying for her and she is having fear and claustrophobia issues with the mesh mask that must be used.  You can visit her blog here to read all about it.

I will still try to get around to visit you all but for now I feel a bit overwhelmed and weary and not up to putting a post together.

Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers.

Great big hugs and supportive energy being sent. I just recently learned of your daughters struggles and blog. What a brave young woman. Anything with roses is so helpful when faced with the feeling of being overwhelmed. Rose oil, tincture, or just smelling roses may help a bit. Love, Leslie

Steve had to experience the mask and he asked his doctor to cut out holes for the eyes and he said it made it tolerable...
I'll miss your blogging but please know that you'll continue to keep Kami in my prayers.
I'll check back in soon.

Prayers for your family. I read Kami's post. I didn't have words to comment. I feel so sorry for her. That mask has to bee so confining and painful. COuldn't they give her something to relax her, like they do for some people when they go to the dentist. I know yor heart is breaking for her. It will be worth it when she is cancer free. Take the time for yourself and where you are needed. (((((HUGS))))

I am keeping you, Kami, her hubby & children, and the Dr.'s, nurses, and techs in my thoughts and prayers.
If you wouldn't mind I will ask my dearest friend Shirley to put you on her prayer list at church...
All my bestest wishes,
Karen
