City House Living

Hello friends. It has been so long since I have posted, I feel a bit rusty.

This will be a short post today just to get myself back into the swing of things.

I have been staying at City House for awhile now and will continue through the summer.

My leg problem turned out to be a recurrence of  the 'C' word.....

I have already started on the my treatment program which is every three weeks.  I had my second one a week ago last Friday.

I must say that I do not feel too bad so far and have been getting some gardening done and much needed yard work..and the never ending list of projects inside.

I am not going to dwell on this and after the initial 'total' shock, have come to realize even more than before, that we really just don't know what will happen in our lives next.

My faith has not been shaken and I have drawn even closer in my walk with Jesus, who knows all and provides a peace that transcends all understanding  (Philippians 4:7).

The thought of telling you this broke my heart and so I kept putting it off.  I feel so much better now that I have and can move forward with my blog and come and visit you all.....I have truly missed you so.

Until next time..much love to you.  xo

I don't know why exactly I found your blog....it could have been the stitched journal project or the Betty Crocker cookbook post...or I'm just not sure. I have several journals and like the collage effect you did on yours. My first cookbook was BC also and now I collect BC cookbooks. They are fun to find at G-sales and such. Last year I had Breast cancer and so I kind of know what is going on. Hope to see more post on your blog. Soon. Hang In!!

Dear Sherri, what a joy to my heart when I saw you with a post! I loved your photos by the way. Gardening, one of my favorite God and I times.
You sound well, and praise the Lord for your continued faithfulness to your Lord and Savior. May He shower you with His grace as you go through this chapter of your life.
Much love to you, Debbie

Helo Sherri,

I've been thinking of you yesterday alot, I was about to find your email address in my email but I needed find to do it - I got alot of emails after yours. I've been wondering how do you feel during the time I never see you. But this morning my eyes staring my dashboard and like " ohhhh that's her, that's her" God is good!

I don't talk too much to you but remember we have same Father that make our hearts connected!.

Your garden is pretty with those flowers. Love it!.

Glad you enjoy your day, it just reminds me that I'm not the only who struggle for life.

Blessing,
Delvalina
