All Finished !!

Hello my sweet friends, I have good news to share! Last week was the end of all of my treatments.

This is what I was greeted with at when our son brought me home from that final internal radiation treatment.  Beautiful hearts made by loving little hands.

It has been quite an interesting journey with many lessons along the way.  One thing I have learned for sure....is that I am very blessed to have so many friends in  this wonderful blogging world.

Thank you all for your faithful support in your prayers, thoughts and special emails, which all went far in keeping my head 'above water' on some days.

I am on the mend now but have found the healing is a bit slower than I had pictured and am having some intestinal challenges and fatigue...(can't figure out why, ha!).

Now it is time to put this behind me and start getting back to a routine..which will include the visits to your blogs that I have so missed.

See you all soon!  xo

I'm sure the sight of those loving hearts will help you get your energy back in no time. I agree, though, that our minds think our bodies will bounce back faster than they really do!

It was a difficult journey. As your sister, watching you go through this was very hard at times. Going through my own cancer journey was much easier than experiencing it on the sidelines as you endured many different kinds of treatments. I am amazed at your strength and determination to finish your journey strong and with your faith in God even stronger. Much love to you as you find your way back into your life. Enjoy!
