Update

Hello my sweet friends. Thank you so very much for your kind words and prayers.

I really don't have much to report as I won't be seeing the specialist until next Tuesday. It has been difficult waiting to find out what will come but I have had plenty of time in prayer and drawing closer to Jesus.

I lost my appetite completely and had to force myself back to eating...

You won't even believe this...My sweetie was to go back up north on Saturday morning so he could get back to work but on Friday evening he told me he was having an appendicitis attack and needed to go to hospital..ugh. So we went and he had surgery and I picked him up to come home Saturday morning. That's how easy that operation is now a days.

He's is back at Little House and back to work. He will be coming back down next Monday to be with me for the appointment on Tuesday.

My heart is full to know that I have so many wonderful friends in the blog world..Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Much love to you all. xxoo

Good to see a post from you, I've been wondering what was up. I understand about the loss of appetite. Sorry to hear about DH's appendicitis, that must have been even more stressful. Hope to hear good news from you soon.

Gosh, when it rains it pours...isn't that how the saying goes. (oooops, I just saw that someone else already said that to you)
I sure hope you are able to get your health issues back on track soon.
And yes, it is amazing how easy an apendectemy is these days. But I am glad he recognized quickly what was happening.

Mark had appendicitis one weekend, and he does get "man-ailments" quite a lot so I didn't take it very seriously and in true unsympathetic style I asked him to fit a radiator in the bathroom- which he did and he must've been in such pain!
As soon as I saw his green face I whipped him straight down to the hospital and they got it out with little time to spare before it burst!

Thinking of you

Hi Sherri, just popping over from Camp and Cottage Living...Kim mentioned your troubles. I don't know details. Just know that you need prayers. I am glad to prayer for you.

The most important thing is to take control. Know your treatment and surgery options and be in control of the decisions. You CAN be in control of what now seems uncontrolable.

I had breast cancer 8 years ago. Took a year to go through everything. If you need someone to talk to email me, k? :)
