So, according to your photo, it looks like we might have a red currant bush blossoming too! That's exciting. Also, I didn't know you could eat Oregon Grape (I know, I know... I guess I've had my head buried in the sand). Our neighbors, who are in the midst of selling their house, have loads of Oregon Grape along our fence line. Perhaps if the house is still unoccupied by the time they're ready, I can pick some and try it myself.
